Cheekbone done and working down his face. Put some base color on his muzzle as well. |

Well, got his muzzle done faster than I thought. I also put in some base color on his neck. The mane will be last. I have to make that up. |

Also painted in dark base color for his mane and started on the actual hair after it had dried using a yellow ochre watercolor pencil. |

Right, lightened his mane with acrylic. Am making this up as I go along as his mane was tied on the wrong side in the photo. It needs more browns and ochres adding to it yet as it is slightly too light. |
